The Meeting with the Master (#1)
And there will come a time when no one will know who you are,
That will be the time of suffering, That will be the time of knowing
"Don't you know who you are yet?" I asked of mine master.
"Not since the ages past has one known truly, who he is. People, in time lose themselves in what is not, more than what is. This was the fall of man. When the ones of great heirarchy, were less knoledgeable then the people underneath tham in the ladder of life. OH! but to know, that will be the day. When one sincerely acknoledges who he infact is. Just the mere thought, is enough to drive me into an eternal sleep. Anyways, no one shall ever know, not in my time, not in your time, not in generations to come after you. In my mind, to finally obtain true knoledge, is when you drink from the cup of Hades. Only then will everything be known unto yourself with its fullest extent reaching beyond that of normal comprehension. That will be the time. Since evey man's deepest desire should be that of knoledge, to come upon such deep knowing would be nothing less than stupendous. For that is the final conquest of each and every man in the universe.....To obtain complete understanding."
"Is all you have taught me true my master?" I feebly requested of my master.
" (chuckles to himself)Oh, my good and faithful squire. Your ambition is so pure, but your mind is so unexpirienced. For it is the innocence that you have, that leads to the expirience of age. My student, you will be next in line for that which is chosen for you. ::sighs:: You are so smart, yet there is so, so much more you have yet to learn."
"Master, That I could acquire only half the knowledge contained in thy head, I would be more than twice fulfilled of any man living. But to recieve thy full knowledge is beyong my comprehension for my young adolescent mind."
"Another thing you must learn, my son, let us not resort to butt kissing, for that is of the week ----"
"My deepest apologies, dear master..."
"It is of no consequence, now rise, for you shall obtain all the knoledge contianed in my head and more, that I was young once again sa that I could learn all that you are going to learn. But that is enough teaching for the day. You have much to learn my best of students, but you will learn, this I promise. Your name will be great, and your kin will tell great stories of your conquests."
"Thank you master."
